Vintage Cowboy Boots

With the chilly weather, boots are on everyones mind. Try and be different in your shoe collection and pick up a pair of cowboy boots! American Vintage carries a large variety of boots starting at $28.00 up to $65.00. The only problem about vintage boots, there are only one certain pair in one size. If you fall in love, make sure that the boots you choose are your size. I didn't find a pair for myself today, but better luck another day. Good luck to all you boot hunters!

P.S. I found another vintage jam, Jet Rag on La Brea... check it out!

Holiday Sequins

Whether you are shopping for something new, or digging through your closet, make sure to get something with sequins for the holiday festivities. The best place to find something unique would be a vintage store like American Vintage, SLOW, or Wasteland on Melrose. If you hit those three stores, I doubt you will leave your shopping journey empty handed! Look through your closet before shopping, because you might find a long lost gem that needs to shine.

The Perfect Free People Thermals

Free People has come out with these perfect thermals that are oversized, warm, and long. There are solid colors such as cream, purple, gray, charcoal, and peach. In the free People stores, such as the one in the Topanga Mall where I bought mine, they are on sale from the original price $58.00 down to $29.99. They are so worth the price and can be matched with leggings, jeans, a skirt, or even over a dress.

Disco New Years Nails

When I was looking for a New Years outfit today at Nordstrom Rack, I was disappointed with the lack of outfit choices with the pizzaz I was looking for. When I was waiting in line at the check out with a friend who was Christmas shopping, I noticed a basket full of OPI nail polish. I couldn't help but to reach for the most colorful option, Rainbow Connection from the Muppets line. This polish retails at $16.90, but Nordstrom Rack was selling it for $7.95! When I got home, I couldn't wait to test the sparkles out over a gold polish, while my friend tried it over a red. It looked so fun on both of us and I knew at least for New Years, I know what I will be wearing on my nails!
