Crossroads Trading Co.

From LA to NY, this second hand clothing store is a new favorite of mine. I have been to the Crossroads Trading Co. location on State Street in Santa Barbra and also the location on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City. The Studio City location takes the cake for me. It is organized by style and color, and by size for pants and skirts. The store is huge and has a great selection and there is something for every style. I found some great gold sparkle American Apparel leggings, high waisted jeans from Urban Outfitters, and a short floral Free People dress. It seems like these items together might total at least $150, well I paid $22! Everything that i bought is very lightly worn, and I dont even think the leggings have been worn. If an item has been in the store for a while it get a stamp that marks the piece as half price. I highly suggest checking out this store, and hope your luck is as good as mine was!

Accent Rugs

When looking for a cheep and fun way to brighten up a space, rugs are a great accent you should look into. Pier 1 Imports carries a variety or rugs for as low as $12.95. The rugs that appear in the images are 2 ft x 3 ft. They are a fun and beautiful option to use to give a little dimension and a little texture. There all all different shapes, sizes and colors available. I find that at Pier 1 Imports, there is always a little something for everyone at affordable prices.

Maure and Eve Platforms

These orange suede and wood ankle boots are available at the Free People online store. They were priced at $328.00 and are now on sale for $49.99. They are also being sold in black. These look great with a dress and also can be paired with a blouse and skinny jeans. These are a steal if you ask!

Planet Blue; Blue Moon

Going on now, Planet Blue stores are having a 50% off everything in store sale. There are a variety of items being sold, including tops, dresses, skirts, dresses, jackets, scarfs, and jewelry. After looking through the clothes, I found this multi-colored Blue Moon dress I absolutely loved. When I noticed the $187.00 price tag, I knew with even the discount it would still be more then I wanted to spend. A friend then informed me that if you say LA NATIVE when you are checking out, then you will receive an additional 20% off! I proceeded to check out and then was told by the sales girl, that Blue Moon items were all being sold for $45.00 and that was without the extra 20% discount. I walked out paying $30.45! So go get out there and check out the great deals at the Planet Blue stores.

Wild Pair Shoe Madness

Wild Pair is now having a sale for sandals, boots, and heels discounted up to 70% off! I found these great maroon suade ankel boots that lace down the back. They were originally $139.00, and I bought them for $19.00. Even if I wear them once, it is worth the buy! Sizes and styles are going fast, so I suggest that you go and check it out. With Valentines day coming up, these are definitely a great shoe option.

Warm Beach Dress

Free People made this dress for there beach line and it is amazing. It is great for those cooler days, but also has breathable fabric. Right now they are on sale in the store marked down from $88.00 to $29.99! For colors they have the one in the photos, which is a slightly faded black and a creamy brown. At their online store they also have an olive green, but it is still marked at full price. Before shopping, always check online prices because a lot of the times, they will differ. On me (I am 5'2) it just barley skims the ground, so remember it might be a tad shorter on you! It can be worn over a bathing suite, or just by itself. It is a great versatile piece that every girl should have in their closet.

Wrap Arounds

Style 1

Simply take each end and wrap it around any part of the waist and wear it as a skirt. 

Style 2

Same as skirt, just wrap it above chest and wear it as a dress. 

Style 3

Take each end and wrap from behind. Take each and and cross infront of chest and tie around back of the neck. Belt it at the waist for a more fitted look.

Style 4

Start from the back and wrap the right side across the chest and through the hole ( These Free People dresses have a small hole for styling). Take the left side and drape it over the right shoulder. take the two ends in the back and tie it for a finish. 

These are wrap arounds by Free People, and are very neat in the many different ways they can be worn. Other brands make wrap arounds like this, but I found mine at Free People... and it was on sale... nothing better than that! These are a few different options in how it can be warn, but feel free the get creative and try any style.
