Elizabeth And James Sequin Steal

Crossroads is one of my favorite spots to find amazing gems like this Elizabeth and James Sequin dress! I saw it hanging on the wall and couldn't believe it lasted even five seconds. I snatched it up as fast as possible hoping that it for one fit, and two was worth the $65 price tag since it is a second hand clothing store.

I skimmed through the rest of the store and ran to the dressing room to see if this was meant for me. It was! The fit, length  and colors were perfect was every sequin in its perfect place. I had brought in a few items that I could possible sell to the store, and after I finished my shopping I was told I had $67 in trade value. I just scored this dress for free!

When I got home I did some research to see what the dress was actually worth. I knew I scored but didn't know how much until I found it was originally priced at $495! This is exactly why I shop here and love stores like these. I cant wait for the next fabulous opportunity to wear this.

Mothers Day Gift

One of the most important holidays for me is Mothers Day. This is not because I am a mother, but I have a remarkable woman as my mom. She is the mother of six children, supportive wife of 35 years at the end of this month, and the most compassionate and caring person I have ever met.

If this woman loves fashion, if would be all about the colors. Her ultimate two favorite colors for spring and summer are Coral and white. She has everything she wants and needs, but this purse screamed her to me while I was headed to the checkout line. The dress I had bought for her was quickly forgotten. This is a beautiful woven straw and soft white leather Emma Fox purse. It was originally $198 at Nordstrom, but I found this bag at The Rack for $89.

Make sure to wrap up your gift with some beautiful giftwrap. It is always gorgeous when you use bold paper and plain ribbon or vice versa. I chose a patterned black and white paper and black and purples for the ribbon. I love using multiple ribbon to give the package for depth and texture..

Last but not least, is the card. DO NOT, I repete, DO NOT forget to get your mama a card because that is the most important part. I picked mine up and the best card store I know and that is papyrus. It is a little more pricy, but if you buy three cards, then you can get one free. This card was $6.99 and worth every penny.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL YOU MOM'S OUT THERE!!!

CHASER Tank

I am a huge fan of the brand Chaser and buy their tops every chance I get. I was shopping at TjMaxx and came across this on a rack and I couldn't wait to snatch it up. It was originally $60 and I bought it for $20.

If you haven't heard of Chaser, then you need to check it out. They have cute everyday comfortable tees that can be worn with just about everything. The material is cotton, polyester, and rayon and all of their garments are made in U.S.A.

One Teaspoon Swim Frenzy

One Teaspoon is an Australian clothing line that has beautiful clothes and accessories that are sold in store and in boutiques and shops all over the world. I first found out about this fabulous brand from Free People and Planet Blue. I decided to check out their website and saw that they have major sales on outstanding items

The first things that jumped out at me on the site were the bikinis. I ended up ordering three since they were such a great price. The black was originally $130 and on sale for $30, the pink was $130 on sale for $30, and the nude was $160 on sale for $30. Since they came from Australia to the US, the shipping was around $25 but totally worth it!

Shipping took a little longer than I expected and so I emailed them wondering why my things hadn't shipped. They promptly responded with a 10% discount code and thanked me for my patience. They came in today (a month after ordering them) with a $10 gift card and I could not have been happier with everything.

The triangle tops ran a little smaller that I expected but they still look great. I am a 34DD and the size 12 was just enough to keep them covered and not look like a hooch. The material is heaven and I can't wait to get to the beach in these. If you get a chance check out One Teaspoon. They have a ton of other cute things on their site but the suites stole my wollet last time. I will definitely be back buying more of their clothes.

Fall is in the Air

Fall is swiftly approaching and Crossroads had three things I couldn't leave the store without. First I found the plaid studded long sleeve button down. It was priced at $13.50 and had that wonderful half off stamp so I got it for $6.75! It is long enough to wear with just leggings for a not so cold day, or it will be perfect to layer in those chilly autumn nights. Next I found the black low back American Apparel tank for $7.00. It is finished with an over-edge seam in a pale pink thread which gives it a little pop of color; a girl can never have enough black tops! Last but not least, my favorite, brown leather Carlos ankle boots that I got for $23.00. These can be worn with anything and have such beautiful embroidered designs all around the top. TI am so excited for fall and the deals I will find throughout the season.

I haven't blogged in a while due to family emergencies but im back! I picked up these beautiful floral Sam Edelman "Tate" wedges at Crossroads the other day. I am attending a wedding in two weeks and these might be the perfect shoe for my copper dress. They were priced online at $155.00 and I got them for $25.00! I love finds like these and I hope if anyone comes across a crossroads, they check it out because it is definitely one of the best deal hideaways there are!

Shopping Genius Indeed

This has got to be one of the best buys I have gotten! The emerald green silk and spandex cape dress from Haute Hippie was originally $425.00 and I got it got $63.75! The nude Steve Madden wedges were originally $89.95, and I walked away paying $17.90! Nordstrom rack had so many great deals, the store just requires patients and ambition. I got very lucky with both items and cant wait to pack them for my upcoming Vegas trip!
