DIY Beach Shorts

When going to the beach, you wanna wear something thats comfortable, cool, and fashionable all at the same time. These shorts are simple to make and for me they didn't cost a dime! First I was organizing my dads closet for him and came across the vintage Levis. He told me I could toss them and I thought that these would be perfect for this project. If you dont have an old pair of jeans at home then any vintage store should have some. For this project, I like jeans that have buttons, not zippers. All you need is sizers, jeans, and studs or fabric (which I didn't use). In my opinion, the older the jeans the better! Try them on and see where you would like the length to be. Shoot for about a half inch longer then you want because you can always go shorter! Fold them in half and begin the cutting one leg at a time. if you want, you can make a cut about an inch on each side for some more room. The more you wear and wash them, the more they will fray at the bottom. Try them on and leave unbuttoned and folded over with your bathing suite underneath for a great beach look!
